Metal Gear Simpsons: With a Vengeance
Concept By: Leif Jensen and Gary M. Gadsdon
Written By: Gary M. Gadsdon

Authors Notes: This fic came about after I was reading another fan fic over at Fanfiction.net which had Maggie being taken in by the Lovejoys when Bart and Lisa move away to South Park (yes, THAT South Park). I was kinda inspired by it, and it gave the basic concept for this fic, but I wanted a different approach, I wrote my own concept, but Leif also provided some and I mixed the two, using more from Leif's concept than my own. After a while writing I decided to give it the Metal Gear title, and weave in references to the original Metal Gear Solid game. In the Metal Gear Solid canon, this would be placed between Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2, it does contain spoilers for The original game, I suggest you play it before reading beyond Part Four.

Part Three - Bart Simpson
"Ow! What the hell?" The man yelled in pain.

Lisa gasped as she starred at the person she had just hit.

"BART?!" Lisa said, shocked.

Indeed, it was Bart. Bart had not changed much, his hair was still spiky, but a little more shaggy and he had a pony tail. He wore a red T-Shirt, and Jeans. He also had a brown denim jacket on with a lighter patch on the right sleeve.

"Huh?" Bart moaned as Lisa helped him up
"Bart, it's me. Lisa."

Bart looked at his sister who was standing before him, wearing her orange jacket and orange skirt, along with her green top, she had long since replaced her white pearls with a green necklace that has what could be described as a clover on it.

"Geez, Lis. You sure know how to hit a guy hard" said Bart, holding his head
"Sorry about that Bart. I thought you were some kind of burglar" said Lisa closing the door.
"Heh. Why would anyone raid this old place" said Bart, as the two sit on the couch.
"It sure is good to see you again, Bart" said Lisa
"Same here. Minus the hitting me on the head part" Bart joked. "What are you doing here anyway Lis?"
"I got a call from the FBI saying that I could return to Springfield, and that Agent Tompson wanted to meet with me. I figured I'd come here for old times sake. You?"
"Same." Replied Lisa.
"So Lisa, how you been? " Asked Bart. "It's been a long time"
"Yeah, it has. Well, after high school, I went to college and got a law degree. After that, I got a job in a law firm in Gadsdon Falls"
"Oh" muttered Bart.
"How about you, Bart?" asked Lisa, "what have you been up to?"
"Me? I enrolled into the military academy. But I quit recently."
"How come?" asked Lisa
"My commanding officer wouldn't give me any time off to come here, so I quit"
"Sorry to hear that Bart"
"Meh, don't worry about me, Lis" said Bart. "Say, have you been to visit Maggie yet?"
"No I haven't" replied Lisa.
"I was going to go see her after having a look around here. Want to come with?" said Bart
"Of course!" answered Lisa.

Bart and Lisa left the house. Outside was Lisa's car still in the driveway, but Bart's was simply just parked across the street, it looked in pretty bad shape.

"Uh, can we take your car, Lis? Mines almost out of gas" Bart said, a little bit embarrassed when he compared Lisa's car to his own.
"Sure, no problem" answers Lisa

The two get into Lisa's car, and she drives to Moe's Tavern, which is apparently, still standing.

Inside, Lenny and Carl can be seen starring around as a pair of beer glasses seem to be moving around on their own, but it is in actuality Homer's ghost just playing tricks on them. Bart and Lisa enter. Homer sees them, screams and then simply just fades away back to heaven, and the glasses he's holding fall to the floor and break on impact.

"Wow! A Girl in the bar" says Lenny with excitement.

Lisa could easily tell what Lenny would be planning to do next.

"Dont even think about it" said Lisa.
"......okay" Lenny said then simply returned to drinking beer.

Bart and Lisa walk up to the bar.

"Hey Moe" said Bart

Moe turns around.

"Say, do I know you. You look familiar for some reason" says Moe
"I'm Bart Simpson" answers Bart
"and I'm Lisa" continues Lisa
"Hey you kids. It's been a long time now. You've grown" replied Moe.
"Yeah, yeah. We all do," says Bart "Did you tell Maggie the truth yet?"
"Actually, I did."
"And?"
"She went nuts! She said she hated me, that she was living a lie and then just left." answered Moe
"Didn't you try to find her?" asked Lisa
"What would be the point. She was eighteen by the time I told her" Moe answered
"Oh great. Looks like we'll have to find her ourselves then" responded Bart
"How are we going to do that, Bart?"
"If I know Maggie, I'd think that she'd try to seek revenge. She's known to hold a grudge. So if you find the guy who killed your parents, then you'd probably find Maggie" suggested Moe.
"Looks like Detective Bart and Lisa Simpson are back in action again!" Laughed Bart.
"Thanks anyway Moe" said Lisa.
"Gotta go, Moe" said Bart.

Bart and Lisa leave the bar, and return to the house, where Bart and Lisa do a quick round of clearing away some of the dust so they can spend the night there. It only took them a couple of ours to clean out their own rooms, the den and the living room. By the time they were finished it was quite late, so the two simply just went to sleep in rooms they haven't been in for 20 years.

Bart and Lisa prepared to go to the FBI offices they were separated at 20 years ago. It would be fortunate for them both as Agent Tompson was still working for the FBI. It must be a sweet gig if he stuck around for 20 years.

Bart and Lisa walk into the reception area of a hidden FBI headquarters.

"Can I help you?" asked the receptionist.
"Yeah, we're here to see Agent Tompson." answered Lisa.
"Upstairs third door on the left"

They follow her instructions and reach the office. They walk in, Agent Tompson is present, he's much older than before, still wearing the same style suit though, his hair is going grey.

"Ah. Bart and Lisa, welcome back" he says as he gets up to Greet Bart and Lisa.
"Long time no see agent" says Lisa.
"Yes, well. Take a seat"

Bart and Lisa sit down in front of his desk.

"I'm afraid I have some bad news. We never did manage to find the man who murdered your parents."
"WHAT?!" shouts Bart "You mean, you separated us for 20 years only to not get anywhere?!"
"Calm down Bart" says Lisa.
"Calm down? This guy is useless" says Bart, angrily.
"I know how you feel Bart. But it all came down to insufficient evidence" replied Agent Tompson.
"Whatever. Come on Lisa, we're going to solve this one ourselves." said Bart, as he got up.
"I don't think that's such a good idea" replied Agent Tompson
"It's not really to solve this issue, Agent" said Lisa, "Maggie's missing and we want to find her. Moe said that if we figure out this case, then it'll lead us to Maggie."
"I see. Well, then you have my full authority to attempt to crack the case, but dont be expecting any miracles."
"Of course" replied Lisa

Agent Tompson got up from his seat, collected a wad of papers and then started to fill the top one out. He ripped the top sheet off and gave it to Lisa.

"Here, show this form to the chief downstairs and he'll grant you access to the evidence lockers where we kept whatever evidence we collected" says Agent Tompson.
"Thanks" said Lisa.
"No problem. And Good Luck"

Bart and Lisa leave the room and get through security to the evidence lockers where they are handed a box, it happens to be rather light, Bart and Lisa take it back to the Simpson household where they open it to find a small blue bow with the letters "MJS" written on it's label and two bags, one with two bullets in it marked "Autopsy - Homer Simpson", and the other with just one marked "Autopsy - Marge Simpson".

"And I thought that Chief Wiggum was bad, there's hardly anything in here" says Bart.
"Bart, look at this" Lisa says as she picks up the blue bow from out of the box.
"Could that be...?" asks Bart
"I think so..." answers Lisa.

Bart and Lisa both suspected the same thing. It was Maggie's bow. It gave them a clue that Maggie was indeed on the trail of the murderer. They have one clue, the bullets they'll need to figure out which gun it would belong to, but they decided to put that on hold until later. For the time being Lisa wanted to visit her parents.

At the cemetery, Bart was having trouble finding Homer and Marge's graves, he found one that he thought belonged to Homer, but it turned out to be for some guy called Walt Whitman. Bart caught up to Lisa beside Homer and Marge's actual graves. Lisa said a couple of prayers for them. As they were about to leave, two figures wearing black, one with a balaclava on approached them.

The person with his face shown was a middle aged man with brown hair and a beard. Not much could be said about the other person, who was a young woman, with a small blonde pony tail sticking out past the balaclava.

"You have all the evidence you need" said the woman "just find out where the bullets were sold..."
"What do you mean?" asked Lisa
"You're looking to find out who killed your parents, correct?" asked the woman
"Yes" replied Lisa
"The bullets used were bought in Springfield" answered the woman "find out the store and then you'll have a lead"

The man whispered something to the woman.

"I have guided you all I can, good luck in your endeavour" said the woman, before leaving.

Lisa thought to herself that how did they know that she was there and what they were doing. But she didn't think about it too much, as it wasn't really much of an issue, at least she had a lead. Bart and Lisa returned to the house and retrieved the evidence bags that had the bullets in them.

"So, Bart where do we start looking when it comes to these bullets?" asked Lisa
"Well, when I was in the Military Academy, we had to study various bullets and then match up the guns to which they belong. I'd say that these bullets belong to a Berretta M92F handgun" answered Bart
"Wow. Who would've thought that you'd know something" said Lisa, with slight amazement
"I've changed Lis" Bart remarked
"So where do you think would have one of those guns in Springfield?" asked Lisa
"I don't know," answered Bart "They're normally used in the Military only, but I guess a couple maybe got through into the black market. Moe can probably tell us, he always had gun to point in dad's face"
"Good idea"

Lisa and Bart drive to Moe's where Lenny and Carl arent there yet, Moe is by himself, the bar hasn't really taken off in terms of success.

"Heya Bart. Lisa." said Moe as they walked in.
"Hey Moe, we need a little help, do you know anywhere in Springfield that would sell a Berretta M92F?" asked Bart
"Geez, that's awfully specific." replied Moe "Well, I only know of one Gun shop in Springfield, would be Bloodbath and Beyond"
"Thanks Moe, gotta go" Bart says quickly as he and Lisa leave.

Bart and Lisa drive down town where they find the shop that Moe was talking about. It seems to have retained it's name after 20 years. Bart and Lisa walk in, and go straight to the counter where some guy with a grey mostashe is there.

"Can I help you?" he asks
"Yeah, do you sell Berretta M92F handguns?" asks Bart
"We did, a long time ago. We've stopped selling those a while back" he replies.
"Do you remember anyone who may have bought one say about 20 years ago?" asks Lisa
"Sorry, that's confidential information" replies the clerk
"We're conducting an investigation under authorisation from the FBI, My name is Bart Simpson" Bart says, as he shows him an identification card from his military academy, apparently, it's yet to expire.
"That's all the evidence I need" says the clerk "20 years ago, I sold my last Berretta M92F to a guy who was wearing a tuxedo and had a bandanna for some reason
"Did he give a name?" asks Lisa
"Let me check the computer here" replies the clerk

He checks through his database, it must be pretty large if it's collected more than 20 years worth of data.

"Geez, you used a computer all these years," said Lisa "what does your database run on, MySQL?"
"Probably, I don't really know, all I know is that this thing has been upgraded several times over the last 20 years, but all the data is here, the man you're looking for went by the name Iroquois Pliskin, he gave me his address as 45 Industrial Way"
"Thanks" said Lisa
"Hold up Lis," Bart said "Can we buy two M1911A1's?"
"Sure thing. Typically, I'd say there would be five day waiting period, but that ID Card you showed me says it all for me"

The clerk boxes up a pair of guns, as well as six magazines of bullets, three for each, and then hands the boxes over to Bart. Bart hands over a wad of cash, Lisa just looks at him.

Bart and Lisa both leave the store, and go back to the Simpson house. Preparing their options.

"Well, shall we get going?" says Bart
"I'm with you Bart" replies Lisa.
"First, let me show you how to load the gun"

Bart shows Lisa how to load a magazine into the gun, and how to also eject it. Lisa tries her hand at it, but doesnt get it right away. She has a couple of tries and eventually gets it.

"Remember Lis, don't get too trigger happy, we each only have three magazines, and each magazine only contains 12 bullets, when you run out all you'll get is a clicking sound, when that happens, quickly load a new magazine"
"Okay Bart, I got it." says Lisa.

The two leave the house, now armed, and drive down to Industrial Way. Lisa intentionally parks as far away from the place as possible. They walk up to the place and it seems abandoned. Bart and Lisa walk down the hall slowly, when an alarm went off suddenly without warning. Within moments they were surrounded by a cloud of knock out gas. Bart and Lisa both fall unconscious.

Eventually, Bart comes to. He finds himself handcuffed to a chair with Lisa next to him in a room filed with boxes, there is a web cam in the top corner looking down on Bart and Lisa.

"Wha?" Bart says still kind of dazed.

Lisa starts to move and she's coming to as well...

"What the hell happened?" asks Lisa
"I dunno, Lis. But we gotta think of a way outta here" answered Bart

Just then the door opened. Bart and Lisa looked and watched to see who was coming through.

The person who came through was the woman from the cemetery who had the balaclava on. She was still wearing black, but it was now a black shirt, with a blue jacket over it. She also had a pacifier around her neck on a piece of string. Bart and Lisa were both just staring at her.

"Well, well, well," she said "you're awake"

She pulled off her balaclava to reveal a girl with long blonde hair tied into a pony tail, spikes along her fringe were quite apparent. Bart and Lisa both just starred at her confused.

"Who are you?" asked Bart
"I'm Maggie" she replied
"MAGGIE?!" Bart and Lisa shouted in shock.
