Goodnight Simpsons

HOMER is tucking BART into bed.

HOMER: Well. Good night son.
BART: Um... Dad?
HOMER: Yeah?
BART: What is the mind? Is it just a system of impulses... or is it something tangable?
HOMER: Relax. What is mind? No matter. What is matter? Nevermind. <Laugh>
BART: Thanks... Dad...
HOMER: Goodnight son.

HOMER turns out the light.

Cut to LISA's room where MARGE is now tucking in LISA.

MARGE: Goodnight Lisa.
LISA: Goodnight Mom.
MARGE: Sweet dreams.
LISA: Thanks Mom.
MARGE: Sleep tight.
LISA: I will Mom.
MARGE: Dont let the bed bugs bite.

MARGE turns out the light.

LISA: Bed bugs?

Cut to MAGGIE's room, where MARGE is tucking MAGGIE in and signing a lullaby. As MARGE sings, MAGGIE visualies the lyrics literally, of her crib in the trees and then falling as a branch breaks off.

MARGE: (Singing) Rock-a-bye baby, in the treetops, when the wind blows, the craddle will rock. When the bail breaks, the craddle will fall, and down will come baby, craddle and all.

MAGGIE starts to suck on her pacifier repeadily as if she's afraid.

MARGE: Sweet dreams.

Finally, cut to HOMER and MARGE's room, who are now in bed themselves.

HOMER: We may be the best parents in the world.
MARGE: Hmmmm... Goodnight dear.
HOMER: Goodnight.

The two kiss as all three kids then come running up to the door, all talking in unison.

MARGE: Alright. Climb in.

BART, LISA and MAGGIE jump into HOMER and MARGE's bed.

HOMER: There's nothing to worry about, now everyone go to sleep. Goodnight.

HOMER turns out the light as each of them except MAGGIE close their eyes.

MAGGIE: Night. Night.

MAGGIE then closes her eyes.
