DVD Companion
The Season 6 DVD set caused an uproar on the internet when it was first announced with it's new design, which featured Homer's head, this is because it was not going to fit in with the previous five sets. FOX realised how dumb this was and then released a send-off, where purchasers can get a replacement of the case with a variation that would fit into the other five, but that would only be for the outer shell, the trays containing the discs would rmain the same.

For buyers outside of the US, the new send-off package would be the default, and the head case would be a limited edition set, but the trays holding the discs would be matched to fit. Eventually in the US, the head was discontinued too, and the send-off version became default.
