Plot When Reverend Lovejoy reveals that his daughter is out of boarding school, Bart falls in love instantly. However, Jessica Lovejoy (voiced by Meryl Streep) doesn't notice him. That is until he plays a prank on Groundskeeper Willie. Bart is invited to the Lovejoy's for dinner, and Bart is denied permission to see Jessica. The two meet up in secret and continue with pranks. Jessica steals money from the church collection plate and Bart is pinned the blame. Lisa tells the whole congregation the next week that it was Jessica, everyone apologizes to Bart.
