Metal Gear Simpsons: With a Vengeance
Concept By: Leif Jensen and Gary M. Gadsdon
Written By: Gary M. Gadsdon

Authors Notes: This fic came about after I was reading another fan fic over at Fanfiction.net which had Maggie being taken in by the Lovejoys when Bart and Lisa move away to South Park (yes, THAT South Park). I was kinda inspired by it, and it gave the basic concept for this fic, but I wanted a different approach, I wrote my own concept, but Leif also provided some and I mixed the two, using more from Leif's concept than my own. After a while writing I decided to give it the Metal Gear title, and weave in references to the original Metal Gear Solid game. In the Metal Gear Solid canon, this would be placed between Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2, it does contain spoilers for The original game, I suggest you play it before reading beyond Part Four.

Part One - Dead Man Walking
The Simpsons were happy, Homer had just stepped down from his role as the CEO of the Nuclear Power Plant back to his former role of Safety Inspector at sector 7-G. His boss, Mr. Burns, looked on through the window as Homer was playing Baseball in the field with his son, Bart, though Mr. Burns was present, he felt that something was missing now that he had his beloved plant back, a fake reassurance, that everything was going his way.

He went over to his desk and pulled out the phone, which was covered with the last remnants of Homer's donut crumbs. He gives out a shudder, brushes the crumbs off, then dials a number, with the Turkish International Dialling Code.

Mr. Burns hears a dialling tone on the other end of his phone, and eventually there's an answer after several minutes.

"Hello?" responds the other end of the line.
"Yes, This is Charles Montgomery Burns, From Springfield, USA. I would like to bail out one of your prisoners" he somehow responds in Turkish.
"Ah, yes. We would be happy to help you Mr. Burns"
"The Prisoner's name is a Waylon Smithers"
"His Bail will be $300,000 United States Dollar"

Mr. Burns rolls his eyes.

"Very Well," Mr. Burns responds. "I will hand over the money at Atatürk International Airport"
"Very Well then. We will bring the prisoner with us to the airport"

Mr. Burns then hangs up the phone. He knows how long it takes for a Flight across the Atlantic ocean is, so he prepares to go to Springfield Airport to get on his private jet immediately.

In Istanbul, Mr. Burns leaves his plane and finds Waylon Smithers still handcuffed and being held by two Turkish security guards in the terminal runway.

"Here is your prisoner Mr. Burns"
"And here is his bail"

Mr. Burns hands over several wads of cash. Who would've thought that bailing a man out of prison would be so expensive. The guards unhandcuff Smithers and he runs up to Mr. Burns.

"Thank you, Mr. Burns"
"Yes, yes. Now get on the plane"

Smithers does so, followed by Mr. Burns, not caring about thanking the guards. The attendants on board the plane closes the door, and a refuelling tank arrives to refuel the plane. Mr. Burns and Smithers sit around in the plane while they wait.

"Smithers, I have discovered a new way to reuse Nuclear Waste into a new more expensive energy source, with it, we can make billions"
"Fabulous sir, perhaps we can get the environmentalists off our back about it"
"Perhaps, that's just a side benefit."

But what Mr. Burns did not know is that Homer had the plane fitted with a camera to feed directly to the family in the dinning room while he was away on business deals. Since the signal was wireless, it was prone to interception.

We cut away to a group of computer hackers sitting around on computers, watching the video from inside of Mr. Burns's plane. They are shocked at what they are hearing.

"Hey, boss," one of the computer geeks says "you had better take a look at this."

A man, with long blond hair and a beard, wearing a blue T-Shirt and black joggers walks behind him and the guy on the computer shows him the feed from inside of Mr. Burns's plane.

"Well, maybe it's about time that he started to do something for the environment."
"Yes, but if this new energy source is more expensive, this could result in a national economy crisis."
"I guess so. I have trouble enough already having to pay my bills, the country could be broke within a week."
"So what do we do?"
"We have to stop him."
"How do we do that?"
"Dont you worry about that, I have an idea"

A few weeks later, in Mr. Burns's office, the blond guy walks into Mr. Burns's office.

"Hello, Mr. Burns"
"Who the devil are you?"
"My name is not important"
"To me it is"
"This wont take long enough for names to be an issue"
"Very well, what is this all about then"
"A few weeks ago, we heard that you were planning to create a new nuclear power source, is this correct?"
"Yes."
"We must formally request that you cease these activities"
"And I must decline"

The blond guy looks fuming.

"Well lets just see what you say when you have no employees to help you with the endevour"
"What in blazes do you mean"
"You will see."

The blond guy leaves. Outside Mr. Burns's office there is another one of the Blond Guy's henchmen.

"He's not willing to back down. Prepare phase two."
"Yes, sir"

The guy gets out a radio and places it to his mouth.

"Begin phase two" he says into the radio.
"Roger that" the other end responds.

We cut away to the Simpson home where Marge is in the kitchen washing dishes, Homer is on the couch and Bart, Lisa and Maggie are upstairs. The doorbell rings.

"Marge, get the door!" Homer yells from the living room.
"Cant you get it" Marge yells back.
"Awww... but this is the best bit"
"Hrrrmmmm. Fine."

Marge stops washing the dishes, dries her hands then answers the door.

"Yes, can I help you."

The person at the door is dressed in a full on black suit, with neck length brown hair.

"Hi ma'am. I am here on official Nuclear Power Plant Business for Mr. Burns, is your husband home?" the man says calmly.
"Yes, he's in the living room, would you like to come in"
"Thank you"

The man enters the house, and follows Marge into the living room.

"Homer Simpson?"
"Yes, that's me" Homer responds
"I'm here take care of some business"
"What business would that be?"
"This."

The man quickly pulls out a pistol from his pocket.

"What's going on" Homer responds
"You don't need to know"

The man fires two bullets into Homer's chest. He grabs his chest as a reflex action then collapses to the ground unconscious. Upstairs, Bart hears the gunshots and quickly enters Lisa's room where Lisa and Maggie are playing with Lisa's Malibu Stacy Dolls.

"Lis, quick, hide, I just heard gunshots from downstairs"
"What? Are you sure"
"Yes, I'm sure. I'm going to investigate"
"No Bart! It'd be too dangerous!" Lisa pleaded, grabbing his arm.
"Lis, don't worry. I'll be fine."

Downstairs, a pool of blood had now formed around Homer's body.

"What is the meaning of this?" Marge said crying over Homer's lifeless body.
"Like I said, I am here on business"
"And that involves killing my husband?!" Marge shouted.
"No Ma'am," He said, raising his gun at Marge. "You too"

He fired into Marge's heart once. She collapses on top of Homer. The guy then walks out the door as Bart sneaks out of Lisa's bedroom door and hides around the corner of the landing at the top of the stairs.

"Okay Lis, I think the coast is clear"
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, I just saw the guy left"

Lisa turns to Maggie.

"Now, Maggie you stay here, it could still be dangerous downstairs" trying not to sound too worried.

Maggie acknowledges with a suck on her pacifier. But Maggie could detect that Lisa was worried. Bart and Lisa leave the room and head downstairs looking around the house. Nothing seems out of place until they reach the living room where they find their parents lifeless on the ground, Bart gasps.

"Oh God!" Lisa cries, running up to Homer and Marge.

Lisa quickly discovers what happened to them, and both she and Bart start crying, but Bart also had a hint of anger in his eyes.

"What kind of an asshole would do this" he thought.
"Well, Bart. What do we do now? We're orphans"
"I don't know Lis. I don't know."

Bart, quickly turns around then walks out the front door.

"Bart! Where are you going?" Lisa yells after him.

But he was already outside running towards the Flanders house. Still with tears in his eyes, he knocks on the door. Flanders answers the door and from the look on Bart's face, he can automatically tell that something terrible has happened.

"Oh My Stars! Bart! What's wrong" Flanders said in shock.
"Mr. Flanders, my Mom and Dad have been shot!" Bart said, crying slightly.
"Oh heavens!"
"We don't know what to do"
"Dont you worry, Good Ol' Neddy will take care of you" Flanders had hoped that would help revive Bart's spirit but it didn't work, as he'd half expected. Homer had tried to do the same thing when his wife, Maude passed away. "You go back inside, and I'll call 911"

Bart returns to the Simpson Living room, where Maggie is now present, who is also crying.

"She was getting a little scared about being upstairs by herself" Lisa said, "I tried not to bring her in here, but she walked in on her own"
"It's okay Lis. She would've found out sooner or later" Bart said. "I went to Flanders, he's calling the police right now."

Suddenly Homer starts to move, but very weakly. Bart, Lisa and Maggie look at him in shock.

"DAD!" Both Bart and Lisa cry.
"K-k-kids?" Homer said weakly.
"We're here dad, save your energy" Lisa responded.
"No, I'm done for kids..." he continued, with slight coughs of blood occurring. "just remember that you three have always been special."
"Thanks, dad" Bart replied, crying.
"This is the first time I've seen you cry like that boy." He replied, trying to smile.

Lisa seizes the moment to gather any vital information.

"Dad, who did this to you, can you tell us any clues" Lisa said, hastily.
"All I can remember about him Lisa," Homer said weekly "is that he had a grey bandanna and neck length brown hair..."
"Can you tell us anything else?"
"I'm sorry Lisa, but that's all I can give you" Homer said, coughing up blood "Goodbye Kids, you'll be with us forever.."

Homer then collapses his head back onto the floor, not breathing. Bart and Lisa collapse to their knees in grief.

The kids move into the kitchen, still in shock about what happened, and cover Homer and Marge with blankets. A few minutes later, Flanders arrives, along with Chief Wiggum and an ambulance crew. While the Ambulance crew tend to Homer and Marge, Chief Wiggum talks to the kids in the kitchen.

"Now kids, don't you worry, we'll catch this guy"
"Chief Wiggum, we know your track record." Bart responds
"I mean it this time. Did you happen to see the guy?"
"I only managed to catch a glimpse of him as he left the house, he was wearing either a suit or a tuxedo" Bart answers
"Dad also managed to tell us that he had neck length brown hair, and a bandanna" Lisa continues
"You got anything else"
"Sadly, we don't." Replied Lisa.
"So now what do we do?" Asked Bart
"Dont worry little buddy," said Flanders "we'll decide that later. Until then you can stay at my house"
"Thanks, Mr. Flanders"

Several days later the entire Simpson family, attended the funeral service for Homer and Marge, even Homer's Mother Mona, who had been on the run from the law for several decades. Pretty much most of the family was crying, but at a funeral, who wouldn't. Bart was trying his best to hold back his emotions, but eventually he had to give in, after all at a funeral, even the best of us get emotional.

"Homer and Marge Simpson, welcome to heaven!" Said a voice that sounded rather familiar to Homer somehow.

The Angel walked on into a reception like area covered with marble pedistals, and plant life. Or is that plant death? Whichever.

"Oh great, it's you again" responded Homer
"Homer, do you know this guy?" questioned Marge
"Kind of. The last time I came to heaven, he showed me around"
"How could you have been in heaven before? It's like a one way trip"
"Remember when I predicted the rapture? I managed to talk God into letting me go back to earth" Homer answered.
"So, uh.. What do we do now?" Marge asked the angel guy.
"Well first, you call me Andre" he replies "And lets get you some clothes"
"I told you last time! I'm comfortable like this"
"And like I said last time, this is heaven for everyone"

Homer, Marge and Andre are now on a floating moving cloud as he shows them around.

"Homer, you've already seen most of this stuff"
"Hey, is the water slide open yet"
"I said not to use Leprechaun Labour"
"D'oh!"

Andre shows Homer and Marge to their bedroom.

"If you need anything, just call the front desk and ask for Andre"
"Sure thing, pal" Homer says.

Andre leaves the room.

"Homie, I'm worried about the kids" Marge said
"Marge, we're dead, what can we do?"
"Nothing I guess, but I would liked to have seen them grow up"
"That can be arranged"
"How?" Asks Marge.

Just then a TV pops out from the clouds that are acting as the floor. A Remote Control somehow pops into Homer's hand.

"If I remember correctly, Earth is channel 23"

Homer clicks on the remote and it switched to channel 23. On the screen is a picture of Bart, Lisa and Maggie as well as the rest of the family attending Homer and Marge's own funeral.

On Earth, it took only takes a couple of days pass before the Government show up at the Flanders house.

"Well, howdy stranger, what can I diddily do you for?" Flanders says answering the door.
"Sir, my name is Agent Tompson, from the FBI. Are a Bartholomew, Lisa and Margaret Simpson present at this residence?"

Agent Tompson, wore a long black suit, with short brown hair no longer than that of Flanders's own. He also had a brown beard.

"Why, yes, they are. Would you like to come in."
"Thank you"

The agent walks into the house and Flanders closes the door. Bart and Lisa are in the living room watching Itchy and Scratchy, Flanders wouldn't normally let the kids watch it, but he's giving Bart and Lisa a break, good news is that Rod and Todd aren't in the room, so they aren't exposed to such needless violence.

"Bart, Lisa. Agent Tompson from the FBI here is to see you" says Flanders.
"What's up?" asks Bart.
"Kids, in the interest of your personal safety, the Government has decided to split you three kids up."

"WHAT?!" Responds Marge as she's watching the television feedback.

Homer is half asleep unaware of what's going on.

"Huh? Wha?" Homer mumbles as he's waking up.
"The FBI is planning to separate the kids!" Marge shouts at him.
"Well, Maybe it's for the best" Homer responds.
"What are you saying Homer!"
"Hear me out Marge. You think that the bastard that killed us would come after the kids? With the three seperated, it'll be much harder for him to find them" Homer explains
"I guess you're right... But still"
"I know Marge. But I think this would be better for them. Besides, what can we do?"

Back in the Flanders house, Bart, Lisa and Flanders all just stare at Agent Tompson in shock.

"Why are you doing that?" Asks Bart
"It's for your own protection. We fear that the guy who killed your parents could come back. So we have decided to separate you kids until the case is resolved"
"Why not just relocate us to the same spot?" Asks Lisa
"It's not that simple. If he found one of you, he would kill all three of you in one go, this way it'll be harder. That and we've already found foster parents for you two."
"Wait, so where's Maggie going to go?" Questioned Lisa
"Dont worry, she'll be staying in Springfield"
"No. I want Maggie to come with me"
"Sorry, Lisa. But no can do. Besides the family that'll you'll be moving into doesn't want a baby."
"That's just sick and wrong" Replies Bart "If she cant go with Lisa, then she'll come with me"
"Again, you fall under the same circumstances as Lisa, sorry kids, but none of this can be changed"
"Damn it" Exclaims Bart. "Wait, what? Did you say a second ago that Lisa and me would be leaving Springfield?"
"That is correct"

Bart and Lisa stare at each other with conflicted emotions, they both don't know how to react to the fact that they are both being forced to split and leave Springfield at the same time.

"Bart - You will be moving in with the Warmond Family, in Wrighton. Lisa you will be moving in with the Benmond Family at Gadsdon Falls. Maggie'll be taken in by Moe Syzlak"
"At least Maggie is going with someone who cares about her" said Lisa.
"That's basically what I needed to say. I will be back next Monday to come pick you kids up. I'll see myself out Mr. Flanders"

Agent Tompson leaves the house.

"I know this sounds harsh Lis, but maybe it'll do Maggie some good if I wasn't here to hold her back" Bart said.

Lisa was shocked. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.

"Bart are suggesting on leaving Maggie and not returning to Springfield?!"
"I don't know Lis. But you and I both know that I wont be able to help either of you out later in life. Maybe it's best that I just stayed out of it..."
"No Bart. Would you have stayed out of Maggie's life at the first opportunity you got if Mom and Dad were alive?"
".........no" replies Bart
"Exactly. All we can do now, is just spend as much time with Maggie. For who knows, We may never get to see her again"

The next few days passed by rather quickly for Bart and Lisa. Moe came by a couple of times to play with Maggie before taking her to his place on Friday, Bart and Lisa went with him that day to continue spending as much time with their baby sister as possible. Bart and Lisa went back to the Flanders house on Sunday night. The night went slowly. Neither Bart nor Lisa could sleep, worried about their futures, and the fact that they may never see Maggie again.

"Bart?" said Lisa.
"Yeah Lis." he answered
"Do you have a key to our house"
"Yeah."
"Could I borrow it?"
"What for?"
"I want to go get my sax"

Bart went to the chest of drawers where he pulled out a small box. Inside it was a key. He handed the key to Lisa.

"Here."

Lisa put on a pair of slippers and snuck downstairs, the house was quiet. Not even Flanders was awake. Lisa crept out the front door, but left it ajar so that she could get back in. She walked across the lawn and up to her own house that she had lived in up until just about a week ago. Using the key Bart gave her, she opened the front door sucessfully. As she entered the house, she felt a small sense of warmth go down her spine. The house though, was dark. No one had been inside it for several days. Lisa headed straight to her room, packed her sax, and then started to look around the house at the memories, wondering what would happen to the house now that everyone was practically gone. She decided that she should get back to the Flanders house.

The following morning came. Eventually. Bart and Lisa, well mostly Lisa, were nervous about what their new foster parents would be like. Bart was confident that his would be no more different that Homer and Marge were, and that he could play them like chumps for being unfamiliar with his antics, though Lisa could detect that he was nervous inside.

Agent Tompson showed up after what seemed like an age. He escorted the kids out into his car with their suitcases and took them to the local Springfield FBI headquarters.

Bart and Lisa are pulled into a room, with a TV, Video Game Consoles and toys.

"Kids, before we go to Wrighton and Gadsdon Falls, I'll need to get some stuff for you to look at"

Bart turns on the video game console and starts to play a game that's quite reminiscent of Super Mario Bros for the NES. Lisa just sat there watching him play the game. Bart got through the first couple of levels quite easily. Eventually, Agent Tompson returned back to the room with a pile of papers and photographs.

"Now kids, I know how hard being separated must be for you. But just because you're no longer living in the same house, doesn't mean you cant still talk to each other. Here are the phone numbers for you to call each other on, and a pair of Government paid cell phones. We have already programmed Moe's number in for you. Bart, here are photos and information about the Warmond Family, and Lisa here's some info on the Benmond Family."
"How long will it be until we can return to Springfield?" asks Lisa
"Only until we solve this case" answered Agent Tompson.
"How long can that take?" asked Bart
"We don't know, we hope that it doesn't take too long."
"Oh" Responds Bart.
"So are you two ready or should we wait a little longer"
"Can we wait a little longer, sir?" asks Lisa.
"Sure thing. Just let me know when you're ready. I'll be in my office next door"

Agent Tompson leaves the room.

"Why did you say that Lis?" asks Bart
"Why do you think Bart?"

Bart just shrugs.

"I know we may not get a long most of the time," Lisa adds "but you're my brother. I'll miss you..."
"I'll miss you to Lis..."

Bart and Lisa give each other a hug. There's a sense of awkwardness before Bart pushes Lisa away, with an embarrassed look on his face. Lisa laughs at him.

"Oh Bart, you should've seen the look on your face!" laughs Lisa.
"Lets just go already..." says Bart embarrassed.

Bart shuts down the console, and heads next door to Agent Tompson's room.

"Well kids, ready to go?" Asks Agent Tompson.
"Yes sir" replies Lisa
"Yep" adds Bart
"Okay then"

The kids follow Agent Tompson to his car, with their new cell phones, photographs and documents. Agent Tompson starts to drive the kids to their new lives...

Part Two - Lisa Simpson
Four years had passed since the three Simpson kids had to be forcibly split up, Bart and Maggie adjusted to their new parents quite easily. Bart using his quick wits easily managed to turn Bill Warmond into somewhat of a second version of Homer, and Maggie is just playful, but seems to have forgotten about her life at the Simpson Household all together. Lisa however, did initially have difficulty adjusting, and would constantly ask Bart how he managed it, but he couldnt give her a proper answer. Lisa did eventually get settled in when she started school. Lisa had joined the school band thanks to her talent with her sax, and within a year she made first chair saxophone.

In a school recital, Lisa's popularity would suddenly peak when she was given a sax solo to perform. Though she worried about it without the encouragement of Marge, Lisa pulled it off. Now, Lisa is one of the most popular girls in school, and all this was starting to go to her head. Lisa was starting to forget about the terrible events that she had to overcome to get where she was now. She never did tell any of her friends about the death of her real parents, or being separated from her brother and sister.

Near the time of Lisa's graduation she tried to get in touch with Maggie, but for some reason, Moe would not allow that, Lisa just simply concluded that he had not told the truth yet, she tried to reason with him to do so, but no avail. She also tried to contact Bart, but she had lost contact with him all together.

While Bart was a senior in high school, he had enrolled himself into the Military. He figured that he should finally do some good for his country. The semester in the Military School he did with Lisa was a major plus for getting him in.

It has now been eight years since the event of Homer and Marge's deaths. Lisa is about to graduate High School. In heaven Homer and Marge don't seem to be any older, and have not taken a physical effect to the last eight years. Maybe when you're in heaven to take the shape you had when you died.

"Homie...?"

But Homer wasn't in the room.

Looking out the window, Marge could see that Homer was playing at the water slide which had just opened. It seems that's all he does these days. Well, at least it beats drinking beer, sleeping and watching TV.

"Homer!"

Homer was at the top of the water slide, he wasn't paying attention to where he was and ended up sliding down the thing head first, he belly flopped into the water, with a huge splash.

"Geez, didn't that hurt?"
"Of course not, this is heaven, there's no pain up here." said Homer
"Physical anyway" replied Marge

Homer grabs a towel and walks with Marge to their room.

"Homer, Lisa is about to graduate soon"
"We both knew that Lisa was able to go all the way"
"Homer, she's going to college"
"All the way, like I said Marge. So what's the deal anyway"
"I wanted to be there for her"
"Marge, you're dead"
"Yes, I know, but we're missing out on so much of the kid's life..." Marge says, starting to cry.

Homer puts his arms around Marge.

"Dont worry Marge, I managed to cut a deal with God to allow us to become Ghosts for a few hours on Earth. No one can see us though. I've been spending the time playing jokes on Lenny and Carl. But you can use it this time to visit Lisa"

Homer hands her a small card with the words "Earth Visa - Homer J. Simpson" written on it.

Lisa is at her graduation and in the audience, Marge's ghost is present. Lisa is the valadictorian. Marge witnessed the whole thing up front and saw Lisa up front for the first time in eight years, even though Lisa herself couldn't see her.

Marge wanted to visit Maggie, but for some reason, the screen in heaven had lost track of her, like she has completely gone off the scope. One would think that heaven would have much better technology than what Earth would have.

Over the years, Bart, Lisa and Maggie were becoming more distant from each other, in fact, Bart and Lisa lost contact with Maggie pretty much entirely. Lisa had graduated high school and abandoned her dream to become a Jazz Player and decided to get a law degree, while Bart was still in the Military. Lisa was initially having trouble with getting her degree, but as always she gutted it out.

After four or so years, Lisa was 22. Lisa had finally gotten her law degree, after the intense level of coursework, and examinations. But Lisa was proud of what she had accomplished. And why wouldn't she, Lisa knew that Marge would've been proud. Indeed she was.

Lisa got a part time job at a local lawyer place, where she worked there for four years, after being given the place full time after two. After those four years, Lisa would receive a phone call that she should've received years ago. The call that finally allowed Lisa to return to Springfield.

Lisa had a talk with her boss, who was actually a nice man, he gave her all the time she needed off, after all, it seemed like that Lisa deserved it. She'd been working hard for the last couple of months.

Lisa packed a suitcase, got into her car, and started to drive back to a town she hadn't been allowed to return to for at least two decades.

When Lisa arrived in Springfield, she could see that not a lot had changed, at least, not what she expected. The Nuclear Plant was still there, with more cooling towers, and the Kwik-E-Mart had since become a slightly larger supermarket, and Apu was still running it. Lisa just skipped past everything and just went straight to Evergreen Terrace.

When she turned the corner, she found her iconic old house where she lived up until she was eight. Not much had changed from the outside, the lawn had become overgrown but it did seem as if someone had been cutting it, it should've been much longer, Lisa figured that someone was maintaining the outside of the house while she was away. Lisa parked her car in the driveway, which would usually house Homer and Marge's cars. Good thing that Lisa retained the key that Bart had given her to collect her sax with shortly before leaving Springfield.

Inside, the house was dark and dusty, but unchanged. Lisa just walked around to gaze at the house and the memories it contains, the most vivid being that of seeing her own parents collapse at her feet in the living room. Lisa went into her old bedroom where she found her old desk, bed, and bookcase mostly covered with a thin layer of dust. No way was she going to lay on her bed now.

Lisa went back into the living room, sitting on the couch, staring at the TV, primitive by today's standards, but Lisa just couldn't stop staring at it. Even though the thing was off. She doubted it would've worked anyway, or at least be unable to pick up a signal.

Just then, Lisa heard some noises, coming from the back door. They sounded as if someone was picking the lock. Next to the couch was one of Bart's old crowbars, Lisa armed herself with it and stood in the doorway to the kitchen and waited for whoever was breaking in to do exactly that.

After several minutes, the door swung open, Lisa leapt out from the doorway and then struck the intruder in the head. Knocking him down to the ground.

Part Three - Bart Simpson
"Ow! What the hell?" The man yelled in pain.

Lisa gasped as she starred at the person she had just hit.

"BART?!" Lisa said, shocked.

Indeed, it was Bart. Bart had not changed much, his hair was still spiky, but a little more shaggy and he had a pony tail. He wore a red T-Shirt, and Jeans. He also had a brown denim jacket on with a lighter patch on the right sleeve.

"Huh?" Bart moaned as Lisa helped him up
"Bart, it's me. Lisa."

Bart looked at his sister who was standing before him, wearing her orange jacket and orange skirt, along with her green top, she had long since replaced her white pearls with a green necklace that has what could be described as a clover on it.

"Geez, Lis. You sure know how to hit a guy hard" said Bart, holding his head
"Sorry about that Bart. I thought you were some kind of burglar" said Lisa closing the door.
"Heh. Why would anyone raid this old place" said Bart, as the two sit on the couch.
"It sure is good to see you again, Bart" said Lisa
"Same here. Minus the hitting me on the head part" Bart joked. "What are you doing here anyway Lis?"
"I got a call from the FBI saying that I could return to Springfield, and that Agent Tompson wanted to meet with me. I figured I'd come here for old times sake. You?"
"Same." Replied Lisa.
"So Lisa, how you been? " Asked Bart. "It's been a long time"
"Yeah, it has. Well, after high school, I went to college and got a law degree. After that, I got a job in a law firm in Gadsdon Falls"
"Oh" muttered Bart.
"How about you, Bart?" asked Lisa, "what have you been up to?"
"Me? I enrolled into the military academy. But I quit recently."
"How come?" asked Lisa
"My commanding officer wouldn't give me any time off to come here, so I quit"
"Sorry to hear that Bart"
"Meh, don't worry about me, Lis" said Bart. "Say, have you been to visit Maggie yet?"
"No I haven't" replied Lisa.
"I was going to go see her after having a look around here. Want to come with?" said Bart
"Of course!" answered Lisa.

Bart and Lisa left the house. Outside was Lisa's car still in the driveway, but Bart's was simply just parked across the street, it looked in pretty bad shape.

"Uh, can we take your car, Lis? Mines almost out of gas" Bart said, a little bit embarrassed when he compared Lisa's car to his own.
"Sure, no problem" answers Lisa

The two get into Lisa's car, and she drives to Moe's Tavern, which is apparently, still standing.

Inside, Lenny and Carl can be seen starring around as a pair of beer glasses seem to be moving around on their own, but it is in actuality Homer's ghost just playing tricks on them. Bart and Lisa enter. Homer sees them, screams and then simply just fades away back to heaven, and the glasses he's holding fall to the floor and break on impact.

"Wow! A Girl in the bar" says Lenny with excitement.

Lisa could easily tell what Lenny would be planning to do next.

"Dont even think about it" said Lisa.
"......okay" Lenny said then simply returned to drinking beer.

Bart and Lisa walk up to the bar.

"Hey Moe" said Bart

Moe turns around.

"Say, do I know you. You look familiar for some reason" says Moe
"I'm Bart Simpson" answers Bart
"and I'm Lisa" continues Lisa
"Hey you kids. It's been a long time now. You've grown" replied Moe.
"Yeah, yeah. We all do," says Bart "Did you tell Maggie the truth yet?"
"Actually, I did."
"And?"
"She went nuts! She said she hated me, that she was living a lie and then just left." answered Moe
"Didn't you try to find her?" asked Lisa
"What would be the point. She was eighteen by the time I told her" Moe answered
"Oh great. Looks like we'll have to find her ourselves then" responded Bart
"How are we going to do that, Bart?"
"If I know Maggie, I'd think that she'd try to seek revenge. She's known to hold a grudge. So if you find the guy who killed your parents, then you'd probably find Maggie" suggested Moe.
"Looks like Detective Bart and Lisa Simpson are back in action again!" Laughed Bart.
"Thanks anyway Moe" said Lisa.
"Gotta go, Moe" said Bart.

Bart and Lisa leave the bar, and return to the house, where Bart and Lisa do a quick round of clearing away some of the dust so they can spend the night there. It only took them a couple of ours to clean out their own rooms, the den and the living room. By the time they were finished it was quite late, so the two simply just went to sleep in rooms they haven't been in for 20 years.

Bart and Lisa prepared to go to the FBI offices they were separated at 20 years ago. It would be fortunate for them both as Agent Tompson was still working for the FBI. It must be a sweet gig if he stuck around for 20 years.

Bart and Lisa walk into the reception area of a hidden FBI headquarters.

"Can I help you?" asked the receptionist.
"Yeah, we're here to see Agent Tompson." answered Lisa.
"Upstairs third door on the left"

They follow her instructions and reach the office. They walk in, Agent Tompson is present, he's much older than before, still wearing the same style suit though, his hair is going grey.

"Ah. Bart and Lisa, welcome back" he says as he gets up to Greet Bart and Lisa.
"Long time no see agent" says Lisa.
"Yes, well. Take a seat"

Bart and Lisa sit down in front of his desk.

"I'm afraid I have some bad news. We never did manage to find the man who murdered your parents."
"WHAT?!" shouts Bart "You mean, you separated us for 20 years only to not get anywhere?!"
"Calm down Bart" says Lisa.
"Calm down? This guy is useless" says Bart, angrily.
"I know how you feel Bart. But it all came down to insufficient evidence" replied Agent Tompson.
"Whatever. Come on Lisa, we're going to solve this one ourselves." said Bart, as he got up.
"I don't think that's such a good idea" replied Agent Tompson
"It's not really to solve this issue, Agent" said Lisa, "Maggie's missing and we want to find her. Moe said that if we figure out this case, then it'll lead us to Maggie."
"I see. Well, then you have my full authority to attempt to crack the case, but dont be expecting any miracles."
"Of course" replied Lisa

Agent Tompson got up from his seat, collected a wad of papers and then started to fill the top one out. He ripped the top sheet off and gave it to Lisa.

"Here, show this form to the chief downstairs and he'll grant you access to the evidence lockers where we kept whatever evidence we collected" says Agent Tompson.
"Thanks" said Lisa.
"No problem. And Good Luck"

Bart and Lisa leave the room and get through security to the evidence lockers where they are handed a box, it happens to be rather light, Bart and Lisa take it back to the Simpson household where they open it to find a small blue bow with the letters "MJS" written on it's label and two bags, one with two bullets in it marked "Autopsy - Homer Simpson", and the other with just one marked "Autopsy - Marge Simpson".

"And I thought that Chief Wiggum was bad, there's hardly anything in here" says Bart.
"Bart, look at this" Lisa says as she picks up the blue bow from out of the box.
"Could that be...?" asks Bart
"I think so..." answers Lisa.

Bart and Lisa both suspected the same thing. It was Maggie's bow. It gave them a clue that Maggie was indeed on the trail of the murderer. They have one clue, the bullets they'll need to figure out which gun it would belong to, but they decided to put that on hold until later. For the time being Lisa wanted to visit her parents.

At the cemetery, Bart was having trouble finding Homer and Marge's graves, he found one that he thought belonged to Homer, but it turned out to be for some guy called Walt Whitman. Bart caught up to Lisa beside Homer and Marge's actual graves. Lisa said a couple of prayers for them. As they were about to leave, two figures wearing black, one with a balaclava on approached them.

The person with his face shown was a middle aged man with brown hair and a beard. Not much could be said about the other person, who was a young woman, with a small blonde pony tail sticking out past the balaclava.

"You have all the evidence you need" said the woman "just find out where the bullets were sold..."
"What do you mean?" asked Lisa
"You're looking to find out who killed your parents, correct?" asked the woman
"Yes" replied Lisa
"The bullets used were bought in Springfield" answered the woman "find out the store and then you'll have a lead"

The man whispered something to the woman.

"I have guided you all I can, good luck in your endeavour" said the woman, before leaving.

Lisa thought to herself that how did they know that she was there and what they were doing. But she didn't think about it too much, as it wasn't really much of an issue, at least she had a lead. Bart and Lisa returned to the house and retrieved the evidence bags that had the bullets in them.

"So, Bart where do we start looking when it comes to these bullets?" asked Lisa
"Well, when I was in the Military Academy, we had to study various bullets and then match up the guns to which they belong. I'd say that these bullets belong to a Berretta M92F handgun" answered Bart
"Wow. Who would've thought that you'd know something" said Lisa, with slight amazement
"I've changed Lis" Bart remarked
"So where do you think would have one of those guns in Springfield?" asked Lisa
"I don't know," answered Bart "They're normally used in the Military only, but I guess a couple maybe got through into the black market. Moe can probably tell us, he always had gun to point in dad's face"
"Good idea"

Lisa and Bart drive to Moe's where Lenny and Carl arent there yet, Moe is by himself, the bar hasn't really taken off in terms of success.

"Heya Bart. Lisa." said Moe as they walked in.
"Hey Moe, we need a little help, do you know anywhere in Springfield that would sell a Berretta M92F?" asked Bart
"Geez, that's awfully specific." replied Moe "Well, I only know of one Gun shop in Springfield, would be Bloodbath and Beyond"
"Thanks Moe, gotta go" Bart says quickly as he and Lisa leave.

Bart and Lisa drive down town where they find the shop that Moe was talking about. It seems to have retained it's name after 20 years. Bart and Lisa walk in, and go straight to the counter where some guy with a grey mostashe is there.

"Can I help you?" he asks
"Yeah, do you sell Berretta M92F handguns?" asks Bart
"We did, a long time ago. We've stopped selling those a while back" he replies.
"Do you remember anyone who may have bought one say about 20 years ago?" asks Lisa
"Sorry, that's confidential information" replies the clerk
"We're conducting an investigation under authorisation from the FBI, My name is Bart Simpson" Bart says, as he shows him an identification card from his military academy, apparently, it's yet to expire.
"That's all the evidence I need" says the clerk "20 years ago, I sold my last Berretta M92F to a guy who was wearing a tuxedo and had a bandanna for some reason
"Did he give a name?" asks Lisa
"Let me check the computer here" replies the clerk

He checks through his database, it must be pretty large if it's collected more than 20 years worth of data.

"Geez, you used a computer all these years," said Lisa "what does your database run on, MySQL?"
"Probably, I don't really know, all I know is that this thing has been upgraded several times over the last 20 years, but all the data is here, the man you're looking for went by the name Iroquois Pliskin, he gave me his address as 45 Industrial Way"
"Thanks" said Lisa
"Hold up Lis," Bart said "Can we buy two M1911A1's?"
"Sure thing. Typically, I'd say there would be five day waiting period, but that ID Card you showed me says it all for me"

The clerk boxes up a pair of guns, as well as six magazines of bullets, three for each, and then hands the boxes over to Bart. Bart hands over a wad of cash, Lisa just looks at him.

Bart and Lisa both leave the store, and go back to the Simpson house. Preparing their options.

"Well, shall we get going?" says Bart
"I'm with you Bart" replies Lisa.
"First, let me show you how to load the gun"

Bart shows Lisa how to load a magazine into the gun, and how to also eject it. Lisa tries her hand at it, but doesnt get it right away. She has a couple of tries and eventually gets it.

"Remember Lis, don't get too trigger happy, we each only have three magazines, and each magazine only contains 12 bullets, when you run out all you'll get is a clicking sound, when that happens, quickly load a new magazine"
"Okay Bart, I got it." says Lisa.

The two leave the house, now armed, and drive down to Industrial Way. Lisa intentionally parks as far away from the place as possible. They walk up to the place and it seems abandoned. Bart and Lisa walk down the hall slowly, when an alarm went off suddenly without warning. Within moments they were surrounded by a cloud of knock out gas. Bart and Lisa both fall unconscious.

Eventually, Bart comes to. He finds himself handcuffed to a chair with Lisa next to him in a room filed with boxes, there is a web cam in the top corner looking down on Bart and Lisa.

"Wha?" Bart says still kind of dazed.

Lisa starts to move and she's coming to as well...

"What the hell happened?" asks Lisa
"I dunno, Lis. But we gotta think of a way outta here" answered Bart

Just then the door opened. Bart and Lisa looked and watched to see who was coming through.

The person who came through was the woman from the cemetery who had the balaclava on. She was still wearing black, but it was now a black shirt, with a blue jacket over it. She also had a pacifier around her neck on a piece of string. Bart and Lisa were both just staring at her.

"Well, well, well," she said "you're awake"

She pulled off her balaclava to reveal a girl with long blonde hair tied into a pony tail, spikes along her fringe were quite apparent. Bart and Lisa both just starred at her confused.

"Who are you?" asked Bart
"I'm Maggie" she replied
"MAGGIE?!" Bart and Lisa shouted in shock.

Part Four - Maggie Simpson
Bart and Lisa stared at Maggie so long that they both caused her to start blushing. Though after all, neither Bart or Lisa had properly met Maggie before, even though she was their sister. Maggie unties Bart and Lisa.

"So, Maggie. It was you who came to see me at the cemetery?" asks Lisa
"Yup" Maggie replies
"Why didn't you just tell me who you were there?"

Maggie has untied Bart and Lisa... She must be good with knots.

"I'm undercover. But there's no time, we have to get out of here."
"Right" Lisa says
"Wait up, where's our guns, they cost me a bundle"
"Dont worry about those, I've got spares" replies Maggie.

Maggie pulls out an M4, she cocks it.

"Alright, follow me" Maggie says

Maggie leaves the room, Bart and Lisa are following her as she shoots at doors and then kicks them down hard. When they get onto the street, Lisa takes over the leadership of the party and they get back into the car. Lisa drives to the Simpson household.

"So, Maggie. Can you fill us in on what you know" asks Bart.
"Yeah, what did you mean by "undercover"?" asks Lisa.
"Alright, you see, I work a guy named Wade Durnt, he's kind of a weirdo. Around twenty years ago, he hacked into a camera on Mr. Burns's plane that he was going to use Nuclear Waste as some kind new energy source"
"But that would be a good thing" replies Lisa, "at least Burns is now thinking about the planet"
"Sure" answers Maggie "but the thing was, the new source would have been more expensive to the consumer"
"That's Mr. Burns alright!" jokes Bart
"Quiet Bart" says Lisa.
"I'd take that Wade wasn't really too happy about it. So he threatened Mr. Burns to stop, and if he didn't there would be consequences."
"What consequences" questions Lisa
"Apparently, he would remove all of Mr. Burns's employees" replies Maggie.
"You think...?" asks Bart to Lisa
"Maggie, you mean that this Wade Durnt character hired someone to assassinate Mom and Dad?" asks Lisa
"Yes." answers Maggie.

In heaven, Homer and Marge are watching their screen showing the footage inside of the Simpson house.

"WHAT?!" Shouts Homer "You mean I was killed so that Mr. Burns could earn more money?!"
"Calm down Homer" says Marge "There's nothing we can do anymore..."
"Yeah, well, we'll see about that." Homer replies, angrily.

Homer got on good terms with God, so he was allowed to enter his lair pretty much any time he wanted when Homer needed some assistance, Homer always joked that he betted that Flanders wouldn't get that kind of treatment. God was at least thirty foot tall, with a long white beard, wearing sandals and a white robe.

"Homer, what's wrong?" the Almighty said.
"God, I need a favour" Homer replied "I want my kids to go teach the bastard who killed Marge and me a lesson"
"And...?"
"How else are they going to know to do it if I don't tell them"
"Could you dumb it down a shade...?"

Homer sighs.

"I want you to let me to go to Earth and this time let my kids see me" responds Homer.
"Very well. But only because your jokes on Lenny and Carl amuse me so much" replies God. "Remember though Homer, this is a one time pass"

God prints and cuts Homer a Yellow Card with the words "Visual Earth Visa" written on it.

In the Simpsons Living Room, Bart, Lisa and Maggie are still talking about how to progress.

"So, Maggie..." Bart starts

But before he could finish his sentence Homer's ghost appears behind him.

"Bart Simpson..." Homer says trying to sound spooky

Bart turns around.

"Aye Carumba!" Bart yells in surprise.
"Dad?" asks Lisa
"OooooOOOOOooooooOOOOO" Homer says twiddling his fingers
"Will you stop that!" Bart shouts.

Homer cowers, as if he was afraid of his son.

"Okay" he says meekly.
"Dad, Is that you" asks Lisa
"Of course it's me, who were you expecting? Jesus?" answers Homer
"That's dad alright" jokes Bart to Lisa
"Why you little!"

Homer tries to strangle Bart just like he did when Bart was 10, but his hands pass directly through him, he tries several times, Bart laughs at his father's ghost before falling to the couch in hysterics.

"D'oh" he exclaims
"Quiet Bart." Says Lisa "We missed you dad."
"We missed you three kids too, Lisa" says Homer, turning to Lisa. "but that's not why I'm here"
"Then cut to the chase, baldie" says Maggie
"Maggie, it's great to hear your voice" Homer replies
"No duh" Maggie says sarcastically.
"Ahem" Bart coughs
"Oh right, Marge and I have been watching your progress, we're proud of all three of you. After we heard about why we were killed, we, by which I mean I want you to get back at the guy who killed us."
"Uh Homer" said Bart, "if you hadn't figured it out by now, we were planning on doing that already"
"You were?" asks Homer, "well then... carry on"

Homer fades away.

"Well, that was weird" says Bart
"Where were we?" asks Maggie
"We were talking about how to go deal with this Wade Durnt character" replies Lisa.
"Oh right" answers Maggie
"How do we go about finding him?" asks Lisa
"Easy, I already know" replies Maggie, "he has some kind of a base in Shelbyville. I've been infiltrating the place as a worker there, since I knew that I couldn't take them out on my own, I decided to wait until you guys came back in Springfield. In fact, it was me that arranged for you to come back by talking Agent Tompson into it."
"Geez Maggie, you're pretty good at this spying thing" replies Bart
"Yeah, well Moe bought me loads of infiltration video games, that's how I learned" answers Maggie.
"Maybe Tom Jackson was right, people do imitate stuff from video games" answers Bart
"Pfffft. You kidding. I know the difference between reality and a video game," answers Maggie "I wont gun down an innocent person for no reason"
"So how are going to infiltrate the base?" asks Bart
"It'll be pretty simple, I'll just say you're my assistants" answers Maggie "But I should warn you that we wont be able to fool Iroquois Pliskin, at least that's how you guys know him, he is actually called Solid Snake"
"Solid Snake? Isn't he the protagonist of that Metal Gear Solid franchise?" asks Bart
"The very same" answers Maggie "turns out that his character and movements were based on the real Solid Snake"
"He killed our parents. We have to take him out" replies Bart
"What weapons do we have?" asks Maggie
"We did have some hand pistols that Bart got, I don't know their technical name" answers Lisa
"They're M1911A1's Lis." replies Bart
"Yeah, whatever" said Lisa
"Well, they might come in handy," says Maggie "As you saw, I have an M4, I think we might need to get you a more powerful gun Bart, how are you with an AKS-74u?"
"Decent enough, I had training with a wide variety of rifles and handguns when I was in the military acadamy" replies Bart
"Okay then, Lisa, you can use both of Bart's M1911A1's at the same time." answers Maggie. "You know how to use them right?"
"Yeah, sort of" answers Lisa, with uncertainty.
"Well, I guess that's better than nothing. Lets go." says Maggie.

Bart, Lisa and Maggie leave the house, Bart gets behind the wheel of the car this time, and Maggie takes shotgun. Lisa gets in the back. Maggie guides Bart to a small house in Springfield.

"Why are we stopping here?" asks Lisa
"This is my place, I hid here away from Moe while I was not figuring crap out for this mystery" answers Maggie
"It looks like a shack" says Bart
"Yeah, well, it was cheap, I needed to remain hidden and this place is quite remote as you plainly saw" says Maggie "Now lets go"

Bart, Lisa and Maggie walk into the place where it's quite small, the size of a small apartment really.

"You guys wait here" says Maggie

Maggie goes into another room, there's various amounts of rustling and loud bangs. Maggie returns with a box in her hands.

She places it on the floor where inside is an AKs-74u and several magazines along with some more magazines for the M4.

"Here's the AK, Bart" says Maggie as she hands over the weapon to Bart, "I also have 12 magazines for you as well. I dont think you need to be told that each magazine only contains 30 rounds, in full-automatic."
"Alright, no problem for me" says Bart
"Lisa, Sorry, but I don't have any M1911A1 magazines here, so you're going to have to make do with the ones you have."
"What kind of weapons would Solid Snake be likley to use?" asks Lisa
"Snake is a master of all trades, he can use hand pistols, sniper rifles, automatics and various types of missile and grenade launchers, so from him I cant really say, I do know that his Berreta M92F has now gone out of fashion and become a tranquilliser gun, so he now favours a USP for his hand gun and a FAMAS as his machine gun. Both pack quite a punch, but I think that we can take him on." states Maggie
"So will it be three on one?" asks Bart
"Most Probably. Once Snake is out, Durnt will be easy to deal with" replies Maggie. "anyways, lets go"

Bart, Lisa and Maggie take their equipment and leave the place, again Maggie leads Bart to Durnt's compound in Shelbyville. Bart, Lisa and Maggie arm themselves, walk inside the building following several paths to a big wooden door.

"Before we go, Lisa, you should probably only cover me and Bart as your bullets aren't as powerful as ours, when we're reloading, you strike" says Bart

Maggie opens the door. Inside is Wade Durnt and Solid Snake.

"YOU!" Screams Bart pointing his AK at Snake's face, Maggie quickly joins in with posting her M4 at Snake as well.
"Who are you?" says Snake
"We're the Simpsons. Twenty years ago, you killed our parents, Homer and Marge Simpson" says Bart
"So you're the ones who we couldn't find for twenty years, how convenient" says Wade
"Yeah? Well, I found you two years ago" says Maggie "How do you think my brother and sister got here?"
"So you were MAGS?" says Snake
"That's right" replies Maggie. "Now prepare to meet your maker Snake!"

Maggie starts to shoot from her M4. Bart and Lisa quickly dive behind some boxes, as Wade and Snake do the same.

"Wade, stay down!" screams Snake

Maggie dives behind the box that Lisa jumped behind. Bart pops his AK out from behind the box and starts to shoot in Snake's direction, he wastes about 20 bullets as each one misses.

"Damn it. He's too good." cries Bart
"I did warn you Bart" says Maggie "but we have to try our best"

Bart and Maggie fire in Snake's direction, Bart runs out of ammo in his magazine first, while Maggie continues until she runs out too.

"Do either of you guys know how to hit him?" says Lisa
"Well Lis, I don't see you trying" states Bart
"It's obvious that he's too good, if he's a character based in a video game use the tactics he uses in those games against him" says Lisa
"But Lis, that wont work" states Maggie "you play as him, his tactics are your tactics"
"Then try and get at him from behind" says Lisa.

Suddenly, Snake pulls a USP handgun in Lisa and Maggie's faces.

"I'm afraid that wont work this time, ladies" says Snake.

Lisa and Maggie quickly see that Snake is above them, Bart looks at them having reloaded his AK pointing it at Snake.

"You better put that gun down or these two see a bullet in their head" states Snake.
"We shouldn't forget about you. Brother" said a mysterious British voice.

Part Five - Solid Snake
Snake automatically realised who had just shown up. Wade Durnt is now above the box from which he was hiding behind. Snake quickly turned around and started to point his USP at Wade, Bart retained his gun pointing at Snake.

"You couldn't be..." says Snake
"Oh but I am, Snake" says Durnt

The beard that Durnt had turns out to be false. He pulls it off, Snake now knows in full who Durnt really is.

"LIQUID!" shouts Snake.
"Liquid?" asks Lisa
"You were supposed to be dead" says Snake
"You're forgetting brother, I can not die as long you still live" says Liquid
"So it was you all these years" shouts Snake
"And now if you'll excuse me" says Liquid as he jumps out of the window
"Damn it" shouted Snake as he runs up towards the window.

Snake turns around and starts to walk for the door. Bart and Maggie continue to have their AK and M4 pointed at him.

"I'm not an enemy. Calm down" Snake says.
"And we're supposed to believe that?" says Bart
"You killed our parents" continues Maggie
"So, you're the Simpsons. I'm sorry about your parents, it wasn't originally part of my orders" says Snake.
"And we're supposed to believe that?" says Bart
"You can believe what you want kid. Right now, my orders are to prevent a Nuclear Holocaust" says Snake

Just then an alarm sounds.

"This building will self destruct in T-Minus 10 minutes" announces a voice
"Looks like we have to get out of here" says Snake
"Who's we?" says Bart
"Look, you don't want to die do you" says Snake "You have two options follow me, or die"
"....Right" says Bart "Lets go"

Snake leads Bart, Lisa and Maggie out to an escape route. Out on the streets, they see the building they were just in collapse.

"Well, that was close." says Lisa
"We're still not safe, we need to get out of here" says Snake.
"We have a place were we can hold up. You better tell us everything." says Maggie
"Fine." says Snake.

Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Snake drive to The Simpson house.

"Now, lets start from the top, why did you kill our parents" says Bart
"Thats not the top kid." says Snake
"Huh?" questions Bart
"I was sent here by my friend Otacon to investigate whether a new type of Metal Gear was in production by a man you call Mr. Burns. Otacon found that Liquid was planning on taking over the project and use it to launch nuclear missiles at key government locations in the United States and the United Kingdom. We were basically working in cooperation with the FBI." says Snake
"The FBI? Wait a minute..." says Bart
"You mean, that the FBI knew that it was you who killed our parents all along?" says Maggie
"Yes. In fact they ordered me to do it" says Snake
"What?" shouts the three kids
"There's more for me to say. I had infiltrated Liquid's ranks as an assistant to him, where he overheard Mr. Burns talking on his way home from a trip to Turkey. My orders were to carry out any command that Liquid issued to me. The first command he gave me was to assassinate your parents, the FBI told me to carry them out as well." says Snake
"So the FBI did not investigate the issue except for extracting your Berreta M92F Bullets from their bodies because they knew that it was you who done it." asks Bart
"Correct" says Snake
"...and then why has it taken twenty years" asks Lisa
"Your guess is as good as mine" states Snake
"There's still one thing I get" states Bart "If the FBI knew everything from the start, why did they seperate us rather than simply just put us in an Orphanage?"
"To keep us from figuring it out?" wonders Lisa
"Possibly" says Snake "Around 3 years ago, we had a new recruit join Liquids ranks under the codename MAGS"
"That would be me." says Maggie "I had begun a separate investigation under several aliases to the issue when Moe Syzlak, my adoptive father told me who my parents were and what happened when I was a baby. I arranged for Bart and Lisa's return, and I led them onto my trail. Once we were together, we chased after you, and then the rest is history."
"Sounds like quite a tale. Glad you see that I'm not an enemy." says Snake
"Be that as it may," says Bart "You killed our parents"
"Like I said previously. I apologize" says Snake "but right now we have to work together to stop Liquid. What are your names. "
"Bart..." says Bart
"...Lisa..." says Lisa
"...and Maggie Simpson" says Maggie
"Alright. Lisa you had better stay here. I saw how you were handling those M1191A1's. You can back us up with information by codec"
"No. I'm coming with you" says Lisa
"Listen, I can tell you've never used a gun before. You're too green. One pause in front of the enemy and you're dead."
"Lis. I think he has a point" says Bart "you're better off staying here, we can phone you if we need any advice"
"Alright. But first, tell me what you know about Liquid" says Lisa
"Well, what's to say about him. He's my brother, at least that's what he says. But I don't really care about that. You've probably noticed that he looks identical to me" says Snake "A few years ago, I was holed up in the middle of nowhere in Alaska, on Shadow Moses Island, to destroy a Metal Gear model that had the ability to carry up to eight nuclear warheads. Liquid was behind that."
"Wait so, you're saying that Metal Gear Solid (The Twin Snakes) was actually real? I thought it was just a video game" says Maggie
"Yes, that was a true story. Except the part where Liquid dies from FOXDIE at the end of course, otherwise we wouldn't be in this mess." says Snake "Can we just go before Liquid steals the Metal Gear."
"Right. Where was the Metal Gear?" asks Bart
"Probably at the Nuclear Power Plant" says Snake
"Lets go." says Maggie "Lis, you stay here, we'll call if we need anything"
"You cant go anywhere if I don't drive you there. Remember, I'm the one with the car keys" says Lisa, swinging them over her finger.

Snake sighs.

"Alright, you can come, but don't get in my way" says Snake

Maggie places a new magazine into her M4.

"It's time to finish the job" she says

Part Six - Metal Gear
Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Snake approach the Power Plant's entrance.

"You three better get ready. Lisa take this FAMAS" says Snake as he hands Lisa a FAMAS rifle, he pulls out his USP.
"Can you cope with that USP?" Asks Bart
"I've been in worse situations." says Snake
"How are we going to get in?" asks Lisa
"How else. We'll bust through" says Snake "I'd guess that this place is heavily guarded"
"But aren't you supposed to be all stealthy?" asks Maggie
"True. But there are times where that is effective. And this isnt it" replies Snake.
"Okay, lets roll" says Bart, arming his AK.
"If you three run out of ammo you can have mine" says Snake
"You got enough?" asks Maggie
"Sure." Snake says, pointing to his bandanna "Infinite ammo. Now lets roll"

Maggie walks up to the door and kicks the hand panel hard.

"Intruder detected..." a voice announces as music begins to play and several guards start to come out from various doors.
"Alright MOVE!" Shouts Snake

Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Snake start running inside and they each take down guards as they come.

"Where would Liquid be?" asks Maggie
"Probably to Mr. Burns's office" says Snake
"How do we get there?" asks Bart
"Who cares, just keep shooting, we'll find it eventually" says Snake.

Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Snake eventually find their way to Mr. Burns's office, where they find Mr. Burns, Smithers and Liquid facing the window.

"LIQUID!" Shouts Snake.

Mr. Burns, Smithers and Liquid turn around.

"Who the devil are you" asks Burns
"Well sir, the brown haired guy is Solid Snake. I don't know who the other three are..." says Smithers
"We're The Simpsons. I'm Bart. This is Lisa and Maggie" says Bart
"Simpson eh?" says Burns "Doesn't ring a bell"
"Well sir. They're the children of Homer Simpson, he used to be one of your carbon slobs from Sector 7-G, but he died 20 years ago." says Smithers
"I was your heir for a brief period" says Bart
"And I shot you." says Maggie

Mr. Burns gasps. He has a flashback.

"Oh it's you, what are you so happy about?"

Maggie smiles with her pacifier in her mouth. She shows him a green lollipop.

"I see. I think you had better drop it. I said drop it!"

Mr. Burns and Maggie struggle. As Mr. Burns fights with Maggie over the lollipop, a Smith and Wesson Revolver falls from a holster then lands in Maggie's hands and discharges into Mr. Burns's chest. Maggie drops the gun and Mr. Burns drops the lollipop.

Back in Mr. Burns's office, Mr. Burns is now shaking.

"It's her! She's here to finish the job!" says Burns in fear.
"It may have taken 20 years, but better late than never as they say" says Maggie as she cocks the M4 in Mr. Burns's face.

Mr. Burns leans over to Liquid.

"Use Metal Gear to kill them" says Burns.

Mr. Burns then presses a button and floor of his office begins to rise as the roof opens up. Snake, and The Simpsons just look around them awestruck, while Liquid, Burns and Smithers remain casual. As they reach the outside, they see Metal Gear REX, in pretty bad shape already.

Snake automatically recognises the mecha.

"I thought I destroyed that thing!" shouts Snake
"You only destroyed parts of it's function, Brother" states Liquid.
"What do you plan to do Liquid?" shouts Bart
"Haven't you played Metal Gear Solid? I plan to go collect Big Boss's remains myself, but first, we'll take care of you four" says Liquid

Liquid picks up Burns and Smithers and then presses a button on a remote and the cockpit opens up. Liquid then jumps inside. Burns and Smithers take appropriate seats.

Snake presses against his ear as he, Bart, Lisa and Maggie run as far away from the mecha as possible.

"Otacon, I think we have a small problem here, Metal Gear REX has gone active again" says Snake.
"It has, maybe Liquid repaired it or something" replies Otacon.
"Right. So how do I go about destroying it this time" asks Snake
"I'd say you should have to take out all the key proponents of Metal Gear this time around. First, aim at the Rail Gun with a Stinger missile, this will break off and at the same time, weaken the legs with RPG-7 rockets, REX's armour may be impregnable at first, but it will eventually give in if you hit it long enough. Once the legs have been weakened, REX will fall to it's knees. At that point, it will be virtually useless, and Liquid will be forced to exit the machine." informs Otacon
"Alright. I'll take care of the Rail Gun, the Simpsons here can take care of the legs, but we don't have the appropriate launchers." says Snake.
"Okay, I'll be around in a Kasatka with three RPG-7 launchers and a Stinger Missile Launcher" says Otacon
"Thanks. I owe you one" says Snake

Snake releases his hand on his ear.

"So, what's the plan?" asks Maggie
"We're going to have to take this thing on." says Snake
"How, the radome isnt there anymore" says Maggie
"We need to hit the rail gun with Stinger Missiles as well as aiming at the legs with RPG-7 rockets." says Snake
"We?" asks Bart
"I cant go for both targets at once" says Snake
"Good point, but we don't have an RPG-7 launcher" says Bart
"Dont worry. Otacon will be by soon with three launchers." says Snake. "We just need to evade Liquid until then"

Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Snake avoid the lasers and Homing Missiles from Metal Gear REX. After about ten minutes, Otacon shows up in a Kasatka.

"SNAKE! Use these!" he yells
"OTACON!" he screams back.

Otacon throws down four boxes, three containing an RPG-7 launcher and the last containing a Stinger Missile Launcher. Snake collects the Stinger, Bart, Lisa and Maggie pick up a RPG-7 Launcher.

"Lets go" says Bart

Bart, Lisa and Maggie start to fire RPG-7 Rockets at Metal Gear REX's legs, Lisa watches Bart and Maggie reload the launcher and copies them to reload her own. At the same time, Snake fires Stinger Missiles at the Rail Gun portion of Metal Gear REX.

"YOU'LL HAVE TO DO BETTER THAN THAT SNAKE!" Shouts Liquid through a megaphone.

Snake ignores him. He continues to fire Stinger missiles at the rail gun. It lets off a couple of small explosions but it hangs firm.

"Damn!" says Snake

Bart see's the rail gun weakening. He has an RPG-7 rocket at the rail gun. There is an even stronger explosion and the thing comes up. There is a chain reaction that results in the legs becoming crippled when Lisa and Maggie follow through with an RPG-7 Rocket at each of the legs. Metal Gear REX falls to its knees opening up the Cockpit, exposing Burns, Smithers and Liquid.

Snake quickly fires a Stinger missile into the cockpit, it detonates on impact. Liquid manages to jump out just before hit its, but Burns and Smithers are caught in the explosion. Their bodies fall to the ground in front of REX, dead.

Maggie walks up to Mr. Burns's body and points her M4 at his head. She fires once into his forehead.

"Maggie, why did you do that! He was already dead!" says Lisa
"Closure" she replies.

Liquid pulls out a small box that has a blinking red light on it.

"8 minutes Snake! That's when this C4 charge will detonate taking out this plant causing all of it's nuclear waste to leak and pollute Springfield for generations to come. And don't you three kids try to disarm it. If you do, I wont hesitate to press this button that will detonate it instantly"

Snake runs up to Liquid and the two engage in a fist fight, neither look too concerned in talking about anything.

"What do we do?" asks Lisa, worrying.
"There's nothing we can do, Lis" says Bart. "I don't know the first thing about bomb disposal"
"Neither do I" says Maggie
"All we can do is watch" says Bart
"Aren't we going to help Snake?" asks Lisa
"I think this is best left for him to do alone" says Bart

Snake and Liquid fight with their fists for a few minutes before Snake makes an uppercut against Liquid sending him flying off the top of the building. A small remote falls from Liquid's pocket to the ground where Snake retrieves it.

Bart, Lisa and Maggie run up to the bomb, along with Snake as he prepares to disarm the bomb.

"So can you disarm this thing?" asks Bart
"I can try" says Snake

Snake tries to disarm the bomb as the time continues to countdown, with less than ten seconds to go, Snake has still been unable to disarm the bomb. The clock bleeps 00:00 and explodes... taking Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Snake and the Nuclear Power Plant with it.

Otacon from above can see the explosion and the ensuing chain reaction as the Nuclear Plant Explodes and leads to a Mushroom Cloud. Otacon tries to flee from it.

"SNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE!" he screams.

Epilogue - Sons of Liberty
Lisa woke bolt upright screaming in a sweat. She found herself in her bedroom in the Simpson house, eight years old again, the clock next to her read 08:23 am. Marge comes in having heard Lisa's screams.

"Lisa, what's wrong" says Marge, worried

Lisa is gasping for air. Still in a state of shock.

"Huh? Oh nothing mom. I guess it was just a bad dream." says Lisa
"Aww... good news is it's all over honey" says Marge.
"Yeah. You're right mom" says Lisa
"Why don't we go downstairs and you can tell me all about it" says Marge.
"Sure" says Lisa.

Marge leaves the room. Lisa gets out of bed and changes into her normal orange dress, and then goes downstairs in the Kitchen, Marge is fixing breakfast with Maggie in her high chair. Lisa explains what happened in her dream about Homer and Marge being killed, being separated from her bother and sister, and then the involvement of Solid Snake.

"I guess there's nothing to worry about Lisa. It was just a dream. But maybe Bart's video games that he's been playing lately had an effect on you?" wonders Marge
"Maybe." says Lisa "Do you think that Solid Snake is real?"
"Not in the slightest." states Marge.
"Yeah. I suppose so." says Lisa "I've never heard of a huge nuclear bi-pedal tank like that before in history class."

Lisa resumes eating a bowl of cereal.

A figure with a rain coat walks along the George Washington Bridge in New York, smoking a cigarette, the skyline was dark. The rain was hitting on him hard. The figure runs across the bridge, a spark appears around him and his physical body disappears, the rain coat then flies off still visible. He then jumps off the bridge and onto a Tanker. There are more sparks, and he appears around them, with his face to the decks. Then then turns around, revealing himself to be Solid Snake. He simply smiles, then he takes his position hiding behind some cable reels.

THE END.
