Plot Bart takes Santa's Little Helper to school for a show and tell project, while the school is in chaos over Santa's Little Helper being in the vents. Superintendent Chalmers makes a visit. Chalmers fires Skinner, and Ned Flanders replaces him. Flanders does a terrible job as principal. Bart starts spending time with Skinner as a friend but realizes that he misses him as an enemy. Bart tries to get Flanders fired but fails, until Flanders brings Christianity to the school, and Skinner is then given his old job back, and Bart and Skinner are enemies once more.
