Plot While at a flea market Lisa finds an album which has Homer's picture on it. Homer tells that he was a singer and song writer for the Be'Sharps.Homer tells the story of Himself, Apu, Chief Wiggum, and Principal Skinner singing at Moe's. But when Nigel a manager asks if he could represent his group Homer agrees, but they have to replace Chief Wiggum, they find Barney is a great singer, Homer writes a song called"Baby on Board" inspired by Lisa. After getting a Grammy from David Cosby (voiced by Himself) and meeting George Harrison (voiced by himself). The Be Sharps start to crumble when Barney meets up with a Japanese woman. The Be Sharps go their several ways, Homer goes back to the Power Plant, Principal Skinner returns to school, Apu goes back to the Kwik-E-Mart and Barney takes his usual space at Moe's. Homer having told the story calls up Barney, Apu and Skinner to perform Baby on Board on the roof of Moes.

The Simpsons had just lost an Emmy to Claymation Easter.
The family shatter into pieces, then a take 2 is called where the family fuse into one blob, a take three is called where the family explode. All three gags were later used as separate gags.
