Plot When Flanders becomes annoyed at Homer for disrupting his Bible Group, Reverend Lovejoy attempts to get Flanders to bring some goodness to Homer, by inviting him to Jerusalem.

While there, Homer constantly goofs off and showing very little respect. Flanders tells Homer that he should, but he still doesn't. In the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Flanders blows a fuse, and is in turn kicked out.

Wanting to make peace with Flanders he sees Flanders walk into the desert (who really just went for a coffee), getting lost, and dehydrated, he is found by Marge, due to the dehydration, he believes that he is the messiah.

Homer goes to the Dome of the Rock to preach that all religion's similarities outweigh the differences, calling them "Christmujews" and preaching "peace and chicken" because all religions seem to accept Chicken. Soon after many other Springfieldian's develop the same syndrome as Homer.
