Plot When an economical crisis occurs in Springfield, the city is forced to release low level prisoners from the prison, including a mild-mannered man, named Walt Warren who moves in next-door to the Simpsons. When Bart introduces himself, it turns out that Walt has the same voice as Sideshow Bob, Bart, is naturally worried.

Everyone except Bart believes that Walt is indeed Walt, but Bart believes he's Sideshow Bob in disguise. Marge takes Bart to the prison where it is discovered that Sideshow Bob is indeed there, writing "Bart Simpson will die" on the walls.

Walt invites Bart to a baseball game, where at the same time Sideshow Bob escapes. It turns out that Walt really was Sideshow Bob and vice versa. Walt, goes to The Simpsons house and reveals to them who he is by his feet size, Lisa discovers where Bob is head with Bart.

Bob takes Bart to Five Corners, where he plans to stand in one state, fire a gun in the second, traveling through the third, hitting Bart in the fourth, landing in the fifth.

Bart stalls for time by jumping inbetween states. Walt shows up and ambushes Bob, but gets detracted, Bob takes the chance to kill both Walt and Bart, but is caught by the police in all five states before he could. The Simpsons show up having been mislead on the trail to Mexico.

Ned Flanders's cousin then moves in next to The Simpsons, much to Homer's annoyance.
