Plot When ratings of Itchy and Scratchy hit an all time low, they try to boost ratings by adding a new character, Poochie the Dog, the producers audition for Poochie and Homer gets the job. When the episode turns out be just as bad, the producers try to kill Poochie off, but Homer refuses to co-operate, he reads a new script that he wrote, and in the end, they kill Poochie off anyway, but lifting the cel out of the frame.
