Plot After a football match between Portugal and Mexico turns into a town riot, Marge asks Homer to buy some protection. Homer purchases a gun. When he points it at Marge in the face, she tells Homer to get rid of it, he says that he will. Instead he hides it in the Vegetable Crisper, where Bart finds it. Homer joins the NRA, and Marge fears for the family's safety, so they go to the Sleep Eazy Motel. While the family isn't around, Homer holds an NRA Meeting. Seeing how reckless Homer is with his gun, the NRA kick him out of the club, Homer wants his family back, so he goes to the motel and says that has really got rid of the gun. As the Simpsons check out, Snake holds Mayor Quimby hostage to get cash from the till. Homer points the gun at Snake (even though there are no bullets in it), Snake takes Homer's gun when wasn't paying attention, and the NRA Members come to the rescue. Snake flees with the money, and Homer tells Marge to get rid of the gun because he knows that he will only lie to her again and again, Marge keeps the gun instead.
