Plot When Bart is forced to join a football team, Homer constantly annoys their coach, Ned Flanders. When Flanders has enough, Homer becomes the coach. Homer replaces the star quarter-back Nelson, with Bart who constantly chickens out. Bart is in a lose-lose situation, but as a result, he ends up lying to Homer get out of playing a game. Eventually, Homer realizes his mistake and Nelson is quarter back again.
