Plot When the Simpsons get a new satellite dish, Homer and Bart watch the set for two weeks straight, and Bart has a test in the morning, Lisa also has that same test. Lisa passes the test with flying colours, and as a result, she is bumped up to the 3rd Grade, however, Bart makes an embarrassing announcement about Lisa, so Principal Skinner punishes him by announcing that he will be dropped down into the 3rd grade, so he and Lisa are now in the same class.

In the 3rd Grade, Bart gets higher grades than Lisa because he has already taken all of the tests and the answer key never changes. Lisa grows jealous of Bart.

On the school trip to Capitol City, Bart and Lisa have a major argument, and they fight rolling down a hill and missing the bus. The two are forced to spend the night in the wood, in the morning they are given a ride back to Springfield by some hill billies. Allowing Bart and Lisa to return to their respective grades.
