Plot Because Homer does not have a computer, he misses an email telling him that he does not have to show up for work. As a result, he goes to buy a computer, after getting the hang of how to use it, he creates his own website, called Mr. X's web page. At first, he just uses images from other websites and sticks them on his own.  Soon he starts to post news on his website which actually turns out to be true and gets potholes in the road filled after exposing Mayor Quimby's secret pool. Mr. X's popularity soars so far that he wins a Pulitzer prize and has to publicly admit that he's Mr. X. Now Homer cant get any good stories so he starts to make everything up. He makes up one story about people controlling peoples minds with flu shots, which turns out to be true. Homer is kidnapped by a secret organisation and is taken away to a mysterious island, and a replacement Homer moves in with the family. Homer manages to escape from the island and return to Springfield, fights his counterpart and this time the entire family is kidnapped and taken to the island.
