Plot Bart, Lisa and Maggie are in the Treehouse telling each other spooky stories as Homer listens in from outside.

BAD DREAM HOUSE: Bart tells Lisa and Maggie a story, of when The Simpsons move into a new home, only soon to learn that the place is haunted. A spirit moves books and flies them at Lisa, strangles Bart with a lamp wire, a voice tells them to get out however, Homer suggests that they sleep on it. During the night however the voice causes Homer, Bart, Lisa and Maggie to try and kill their family with an axe and knifes. Marge tells the house that they'll have to live together so it'll have to get used to it. Exploring the options, it self-destructs.

HUNGRY ARE THE DAMNED: Bart tells another story featuring Kang and Kodos who abduct the Simpsons, and continually makes them eat. Taking them to Rigel 4 where they will be given a welcoming banquet as guests of honour. Lisa finds a book on how to cook humans, Kang tells them that its actually a cook book on how to make meals for humans. Kang and Kodos send the Simpsons home, who concludes that it was they who were the real monsters.

THE RAVEN: Lisa reads Bart a story of terror by Edgar Allen Poe, of which as Homer listens visualizes himself as the narrator (voiced by James Earl Jones) and Bart as the Raven.

At the end of the night Bart, Lisa and Maggie all sleep peacefully while Homer tries to get Marge to sleep with the light on.
