Plot When Lisa makes a heartfelt present for Homer for Father's Day, it gets ruined when Homer puts it on the fridge. Lisa starts to lose faith in Homer. Homer tries to win her back by becoming the schools Safety Salamander. When a road crash turns disastrous Homer saves everyone. The townspeople call a recall election against Mayor Quimby. Various people run for Mayor including Homer. But when Marge washes the Salamander suit, it shrinks and Homer loses his campaign.
