Plot At an award ceremony for Vance Connor, Homer is jealous because Vance is only ten days younger than he is, and is more wealthy, yet the two ran for Class President in High School. Lenny and Carl tell Homer that they were asked by Principal Dondalinger to hide the ballot box in the woods. Homer and Lenny go out there to dig it up, where Lisa tallies up the results to reveal that Homer won the election. Homer confronts Dondalinger where he reveals to Homer that he overheard two footballers who tried to make a fool of Homer. <br /><br />Homer falls into depression as he was the one who was supposed to get Vances's success. At dinner he is shown an alternate reality where Homer did win, yet he was appreciated where Homer is asks out the Lead Cheerleader, Debbie Pintson. At the prom, Homer meets and introduces himself to Marge. Homer and Marge have a dance together, and he takes her home, where he is then offered a job in Sector 6-F by Mr. Burns, which leads to a success. Homer is rich, and lives in a mansion with Marge, but no kids. Marge says that their lives would be horrible without the kids. <br /><br />Homer still depressed, sits in the pool all day they take Homer to the Wall of Fame where they show him a plaque showing Homer's name indicating to him that he is worth something after all.
