Plot When Reverend Lovejoy tells Homer and Marge that because of a credit issue, the wedding he gave Homer and Marge (during 4F04 - A Milhouse Divided) was invalid due to not actually being a minister. Homer vows to give Marge a proper wedding, one he could not provide twice previously.

In the run up to the wedding, Marge becomes a Bridezilla, annoying practically everybody, most noticeably, Homer. On the wedding day, Marge checks up on Homer to find him gone, at first, it appears that Homer has simply run away because of Marge, but Bart and Lisa fish for clues and find a set of keys with a keyring featuring the letters SB, the two figure it to be Sideshow Bob.

Sideshow Bob turns out to be innocent, sculpting a bust of Krusty. Sideshow Bob points them on another lead, their Aunts Patty and Selma who have indeed kidnapped Homer and are torturing him. They are convinced that Homer really cares for Marge when they hear his vows that he planned to recite to Marge. Just as Patty and Selma are about to release Homer, Bart and Lisa catch up to them, and force them to pay for the fourth wedding or else they'll tell Marge about Homer's kidnapping.
