Bart falls for her, and trying to impress her, he takes on the four bullies who are harassing a mother duck alone, he is beaten up. Bart invites Jenny over for Dinner, where Milhouse shows up threatening to reveals Bart's dark past to Jenny for failing to visit him daily. Eventually, Bart reveals the truth to Jenny and she breaks up with him.

Meanwhile, Lisa has to create a report on Springfield 50 years in the future. She discovers that at the current rate, humanity wont have a future with Oil Reserves running dry and all sources of water drying up. Lisa is placed on a drug to make her feel less depressed. Which works a little too well, and she loses her sense of reality. In her drug induced stupor, she almost kisses a rotary fan held up by Maggie and Marge forces her off the drugs, though Santa's Little Helper eats the drugs and almost kisses the fan instead
